    Was so looking forward to trying this place. Made the booking and requested a nice view, and followed this up with an email (not responded to) requesting an outside table if possible, acknowledging this isn't guaranteed. Arrived on time and was given a small table next to the bar as far from the windows as you could get. Asked if we could sit outside as there were several tables empty. Were told these were reserved (even though when booking it says you can't reserve outside). Sat back down, waited quite a while to order a drink. When it came it was nice, but somewhat overpriced as it was mainly made up of one massive lump of ice. Waited a bit, still nobody had arrived to sit outside. Another couple walked in without a reservation and managed to sit outside?? Asked again if we could sit outside to watch the sunset and said we'd move if anyone came. Was told no as those tables are for 4 people. Ok, so if we'd come with another couple we could have sat outside?!! Another couple came in. They were told the reservations for those tables were running a bit late and it wasn't possible. They sat inside for two minutes and then promptly moved outside. By this time, we had missed a glorious sunset. We were seriously annoyed by this point so decided to finish our drink and leave without eating. Spoke to the lady at the entrance and explained why we were leaving. She gave so many ridiculous reasons of why we couldn't sit outside - 'outside tables are confirmed on arrival' (what does that even mean? we'd arrived, why couldn't we have one?), 'those tables are running late due to the traffic after the game' (well, as per the 15-minute late policy that you have to tick when you book they should have lost them), 'we've got a large booking sat where the tables for 2 are' (so again, being a couple is the wrong number). Anyway, totally disappointing and won't come back.

    Very nice. Welcoming staff and relaxed place - food is decent, but we only had small plates.

    70 inch TV screen with football was out of place. Killed all the other good work.
