    We stared at Hunter’s for 3 nights and tried all 3 restaurants. On the first night we ate at Sage in the main Hunter’s buildings. The welcome and service were friendly and efficient and the food and wine were excellent. Can recommend the prawn starter, the lamb makhani curry and the massive cheeseboard. Also the Croydon Covenant Pinotage from a vineyard that we’d never heard of before. Recommended

    Fantastic meal and fantastic staff. I would highly recommend this venue and only wish I was staying here longer so I can enjoy the hospitality even more.

    We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Hunters Country Sage Restaurant, and it honestly felt like a five-star experience from start to finish. From the warm welcome at reception and General Manager Travis, to the kindness of our lovely waitress Zoleka, and even getting to meet the Chef. Every moment felt special. We had our own private dining room with the fireplace lit, which made the afternoon feel so cozy and romantic. The food was absolutely delicious, the service flawless, and the atmosphere just perfect. This hidden gem truly made our anniversary unforgettable. I can’t recommend it enough. ❤️✨
