    We had such a wonderful experience! We were a group of five celebrating a colleague’s 60th birthday, and the team truly went above and beyond to make it special. From the moment we arrived, the service was brilliant attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. What really stood out were the personal touches. They surprised her with a bottle of wine beautifully marked “Happy 60th Birthday,” and even presented a plate with a birthday message and her name — such a lovely detail. On top of that, they treated us to complimentary ice cream and desserts, which was completely unexpected and so appreciated. We had come in for an affordable special, but the level of care and generosity we received made the whole experience feel incredibly premium. It’s rare to find service like this — thoughtful, genuine, and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

    I have visited Hussar on 3 occasions and all occasions were consistent. This was my husbands first time and he was blown away. Their service fantastic and food amazing. My husband tried the marrow bones as a starter and pork belly bites and sirloin rare as a main (this was made to perfection). I had the mussel pot as a starter and the sirloin medium rare as a main. We really enjoyed every bite, compliments to the Hussar Grill and their team ❤️ We will definitely be coming back.

    We had a lovely afternoon catching up with friends. The service was great and the food was lovely. The complementary chocolate martinis were delicious and a nice surprise. Only thing - and it’s not any to do with Hussars, was the terrible noise from the idiot boy racers and their cars revving up and down the road. Umhlanga police need to clamp down on this antisocial behaviour.
