    We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Ilali. We ordered the Ostrich fillet which were done to M/R perfection. My husband ordered the Gemsbok & enjoyed it immensely. Management were very warm & helpful when requesting a change from the terrace to indoors as it was a tad chillier than expected. We will be back & thank you for making it a special birthday night for our daughter.

    Same waitress that got my surname incorect the previous time ,had the line fish they said it was Bream but it was tasteless i was convinced it was hake ,after asking for desert menu it took longer than the main course , ordered coffee had to ask the waiter for sweatness eventuately got from people next to us

    Sadly the food was terrible. Friends that recommended us to go there said the steaks are very good. Maybe we just ordered badly. We had chicken curry and seafood linguine. Stay away from these. The sister restaurant Blu in Knysna is excellent. We ate there a lot. Every meal was delicious and freshly prepared.

    Popped in on the off chance to make a reservation for that evening. On our arrival the restaurant was busy and there was a buzzing atmosphere. We were shown to our seats quickly and staff were very attentive. Drinks arrived quickly as did our starters of the jalepino cheesy balls and spicy prawns. Portions were good and the food tasty. For main husband ordered bacon and Avocado pizza whilst I ordered the fish & chips. The pizza came with a decent amount of toppings& a thin crispy base. & was a decent size which he managed to finish. The batter on the fish was very thick, I ended up taking the batter off the fish and putting it to one side of the plate where it stayed The fish itself was moist. In hindsight I should’ve have been more adventurous with my choice, Next time I will.
