Our new restaurant "In the Meantime" is located in Woodstock on the corner of Sir Lowry Road and Selwyn Street.

We serve a limited Asian inspired menu, using locally grown and ethically sourced ingredients.

Our menu contains many classic items from our previous spots, and will have new dishes to come, all focused on natural flavours elevated using fermentation.

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate gluten-free diets.

We are located at The Palms Centre, next to the Seattle Coffee Company in the blue building on Sir Lowry Road.

Our direct entrance is near the corner of Sir Lowry Road & Selwyn Street. There is a back entrance behind the building which you can use when you park inside the centre and and arrive at after a short walk.

For deliveries, you can park in front of the shop when there is a space. Otherwise please use the loading bays inside the parking, which is free for 1 hour.

A really lovely experience all round. Food is simple but delicious, with a real focus on fresh and quality ingredients. Carefully curated winelist offers some unique glasses/bottles to sip from (lots of Swartland wines to choose from, especially). Service is attentive and done with care, offering advice to help you make your way through your dining experience (I loves me a server with opinions to offer). You'll definitely be seeing us again before you close your doors in March!

What an incredible experience. Every dish was beautifully presented with true fine-dining quality, yet each bite had the warmth, comfort, and love of a home-cooked meal—as if a close friend’s mother had prepared it especially for you. A heartfelt compliment to both the chef and her son. Your passion, hospitality, and attention to detail shine through in every aspect of the restaurant. It’s rare to find a place that combines exceptional culinary skill with such genuine warmth. Thank you for creating a meal that was not only delicious but truly memorable. I can’t wait to return.
