Our Taproom's open year-round and is home to fresh beer, great food, live music, and some truly epic community events. We also host tours and tastings where you can learn more about all full range of beers, right from the source. We also have a retail store selling merchandise and growlers – available for purchase and refill.

In 2016 we opened the doors to our brand-new home in Diep River, Cape Town. Initially, we opened the Taproom as a space for friends and customers to come for a beer, meet the team, and understand the passion that goes into every batch we brew. But soon one day, we decided to open our doors to the world - and we were blown away by the turnout and overwhelmed by the love and support. Hundreds of people went out of their way and queued to get in – in the pouring rain!

That night we learnt that we're part of an amazing community consisting of all walks of life. A bunch of people that can't think of anything better than coming together with a pint of ice-cold Jack Black beer. So, we decided to keep the doors to our Taproom open and crafted a delicious, permanent food menu - including our signature burgers and fries as well as some delicious vegan bites.

    Service was excellent, burgers are unbelievably good, fries were so much better than I was expecting. That brioche bun was memorable. At first I was disappointed that there were only 3 choices of burgers but I quickly realised they were worth eating again and again. Music was terribly loud but promptly switched off outside so thank you. I’ll be back very soon.

    We had a pleasant evening at the Brewery. The beef was great. Food just ok but expensive for what you got especially the 3 combo options. 3 chicken wings, 2 ribs & 3 mozzarella sticks for R180 seems a bit high. Burger was very tasty.

    Our Jack Black experience was once again so good. Though the place was quite busy and waiters few, we received quick service and were given the right amount of attention. Poppers was so tasty and Nacho burger delicious. Beers always good thank you Jack Black for continuing to offer the community a great place to connect.
