“JAKES on the Common” is nestled at the foot of the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive, in a beautifully designed, purpose built restaurant building.     Steaks are really always very good. Sadly for us the restaurant was over busy somehow and service was too slow - an hour before food came which was not great.

    This is now hands down one of my top date night spots to recommend. The food was exquisite, boasting bold, rich flavors. The basil pesto prawn pasta was delicate yet creamy. The pork belly my wife had was perfectly crispy and robust The starter platter and the dessert platter were perfect for two. Excellent service from stepping through the door to leaving the door Good vibes, nice music, elegant modern interior
