“JAKES on the Common” is nestled at the foot of the iconic Chapman’s Peak Drive, in a beautifully designed, purpose built restaurant building.     We have been to Jake's so many times but last night was just awful. There were 10 of us because we recommend friends join us from the States. The crumbed chicken burgers tasted like they used an old box of crumbs. And all the chicken in all the meals we ordered was sooo tough. I couldn't even cut some of the chicken I had to try shredded it up to chew it. Was awful this time sad to say.

    Staff friendly and welcoming. Lovely setting outside. Great service. Food always consistently good.Our favourite restaurant in Noordhoek. Would highly recommend.

    Jakes is our Sunday favourite. Our food was delicious, as usual, and the service is always friendly from the welcome to the end. Thanks to our waiter, Cliff for his good service throughout. Thank you!
