    Usually a great dining experience but this time my burger was cold, my wife was surprised that the salmon in the poke bowl was raw and my daughter's miso prawn bowl was swimming in garlic. On a positive note, our overseas guests were impressed with their steaks. I hope my review comments prove useful to Jakes kitchen management.

    I hosted my husband's 40th birthday party at Jakes Restaurant with 18 guests, and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. I took advantage of their R120 lunch menu — everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. Despite our large group, we didn’t have to wait long for our meals, which was impressive. A special shoutout to our waitress, who was attentive, friendly, and gave exceptional service throughout. Thank you to the Jakes team for helping make the day so memorable!
