    We held my Dad's 80th Birthday celebration last night for 21 people, every aspect was absolutely flawless and the staff went the extra mile to ensure everyone was the best evening. Thank You

    We had a very pleasant evening at Jakes. It was my fiancé's first visit to the restaurant and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was wonderful and Jorga was a star waitress. Thank you for a lovely evening.

    Only one small remark - might be better if the same person who takes the wine order, brings it to the table. Our two glasses of red were almost certainly not what we ordered and someone then afterwards also brought a glass that we hadn't even ordered to the table. Our own waitress (Zia?) was however fantastic and definitely recommended. Great atmosphere, good food and even though it was full, no long waits.

    After an hours wait , no food. Eventually, the manager spoke to us to say there was a "printer problem". In other words our order was never placed in the first instance. The waiter was nowhere to be seen. Food eventually came and my burger was underdone. I did not send it back because I could not be bothered as we had been there for nearly houtr and a half. not a great experience.

    Outstanding as always. As a guesthouse owner in the area, we always send our guests to Jakes COnstantia and always, they come back with glowing reviews to us about how much they enjoyed themselves. It is so special when we also get to pop in as well for a meal. It's always the pork belly - both my husband and I LOVE it so much. Thank you!
