We offer three different whisky experiences – all of which includes a refreshing welcome cocktail; an in-depth tour of the distillery and maturation and a tasting of four of our flagship whiskies:

Wellingtoner - Tasting of four local favourite whiskies paired with nibbles.

Best of Both – Tasting of four whiskies, a combination of local favourites and special releases paired with nibbles.

Special Releases - Tasting of four limited edition whiskies paired with nibbles.

    My wife and I had an incredible experience at the James Sedgwick Distillery. We booked what we thought was just a whisky tasting on a Wednesday, as the website indicated tours were only available on Fridays and Saturdays. To our surprise, the tasting included a full distillery tour, which made the experience even better! We were the only two people on the tour, so it felt very personal. Our guide, Duane, was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely funny. He made the tour engaging and entertaining from start to finish, and was happy to answer all our questions. The tasting itself exceeded our expectations. Not only did we enjoy the whisky package we selected, but we were also treated to samples of some unreleased whiskies, which was a real highlight and something we definitely weren't expecting. Overall, this was an outstanding experience and excellent value. I'd highly recommend the James Sedgwick Distillery to any whisky enthusiast. The only suggestion I'd make is to update the website so it accurately reflects that tastings include a tour, as it might encourage even more people to visit.

    Duane was our guide for the distillery tour last weekend. He is very knowledgeable and professional in his delivery, and adds his own brand of humour to the presentation.     A friend and I enjoyed the Special Releases tasting and it was really great. I can recommend this to any whiskey lover. Dwayne is a really good whiskey guide and looked after us very well.

    Only patrons in the morning tour however the afternoon was full. A hidden Gem of the Western Cape and great facility that is producing world class Whisky
