The House of JC Le Roux is the leading home of sparkling wine in South Africa and offers an exquisite setting to explore the range of crisp, lively and refreshing sparkling and Méthode Cap Classique wines.

The cellar and vineyards nestle on part of the historic farm where French Huguenot, Jean le Roux, planted vines in Stellenbosch after fleeing Normandy in 1704. In 1982 The House of JC Le Roux was established as South Africa’s first dedicated sparkling wine cellar.

The background music was very loud whivh disturbed the ambience of the afternoon. Cheesecake was delicious and the sparkling wine superb.

First we had our pairings which was nougat, cheesecake and biltong, 2 of the ladies had the non-alcoholic option (loved that there's options for people who doesn't drink alcohol🫶). Food was excellent, we ordered pizzas, alfredos, roxis ribs and oxtail and of course 3 extra bottles of bubbly🙈. Getting to the place felt like a never ending road, I would like that someone communicate somewhere between confirmation or even on the page about only using the one entrance around Adam Tas Road especially for those making use of Uber (those who don't drink and drive), coming from the side of Bottelary Road (gps takes you up the Devonvale Golf and Wine Estate). The restrooms are very clean and neat and I will definitely be back for my 5th time😁
