The House of JC Le Roux is the leading home of sparkling wine in South Africa and offers an exquisite setting to explore the range of crisp, lively and refreshing sparkling and Méthode Cap Classique wines.

The cellar and vineyards nestle on part of the historic farm where French Huguenot, Jean le Roux, planted vines in Stellenbosch after fleeing Normandy in 1704. In 1982 The House of JC Le Roux was established as South Africa’s first dedicated sparkling wine cellar.

    The pizza was amazing, best pizza by far, also seeing other dishes all looked great but the salad was drenched in dressing. It took away from the crisp and freshness of the salad but well presented. The tastings was a great experience because your product & location is great. Overall it was good, however the ambience was disappointing. Too many functions happening at the same time. It was crowded and so loud. I felt I was in a club and could not enjoy the company in the restaurant at dinner time. I know so many people was celebrating which was great but the timing wasn't good wanting a peaceful dinner to enjoy company. The noise levels was unbearable I couldn't hear myself speak. Everything was good but the ambience & service needs work. The lady that did the tastings as well was so rushed, ran through it so quickly then disappeared and was never to be seen again. We couldn't get the bill. If we left without paying, nobody would have been any wiser but it was a struggle to find someone to pay the bill for the tastings as they did not allow it at the restaurant. People at the front desk reception had no idea what our bill was. So this can be managed better. We had to hunt for someone to ensure our bill was paid before we left.

    Ive been to JC Le Roux many times before and in my opinion the tasting experience was not as good as it used to be. I still love the brand though.
