The House of JC Le Roux is the leading home of sparkling wine in South Africa and offers an exquisite setting to explore the range of crisp, lively and refreshing sparkling and Méthode Cap Classique wines.

The cellar and vineyards nestle on part of the historic farm where French Huguenot, Jean le Roux, planted vines in Stellenbosch after fleeing Normandy in 1704. In 1982 The House of JC Le Roux was established as South Africa’s first dedicated sparkling wine cellar.

    The place was lovely, great ambience and service. I didn’t use the toilet so can’t comment there but every thing else 10/10 minus nothing

    A suggestion, you should have an option for a top up of wine tasting. It is also weird that the cheesecake pairing only comes with 3 glasses of wine. 5 glasses would be perfect and aligned with the others tasting at your table.

    Lovely staff at The Tasting room. We were received lovingly and helped with whatever we needed. The setting outside is simply stunning and super comfy. Lovely experience. Would recommend.

    I had a fantastic experience at this wine-tasting restaurant. The food pairings were thoughtful and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and perfect for lingering. Overall, an excellent spot for both casual wine lovers and serious enthusiasts. Highly recommended.
