The House of JC Le Roux is the leading home of sparkling wine in South Africa and offers an exquisite setting to explore the range of crisp, lively and refreshing sparkling and Méthode Cap Classique wines.

The cellar and vineyards nestle on part of the historic farm where French Huguenot, Jean le Roux, planted vines in Stellenbosch after fleeing Normandy in 1704. In 1982 The House of JC Le Roux was established as South Africa’s first dedicated sparkling wine cellar.

    We visited JC Le Roux for a tasting to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. This was his very first time, and it truly was a memorable experience. Our tasting was facilitated by Gigi, who was knowledgeable, engaging and added such a special touch to the occasion. Everything was well organised, clean and beautifully presented. The only downside was the presence of a cat on the premises, which unfortunately left my mom a bit on edge as she has a fear of cats. That said, the staff and overall atmosphere made the day a wonderful one. JC Le Roux delivered a delightful and celebratory experience that made my dad’s milestone birthday extra special.
