The House of JC Le Roux is the leading home of sparkling wine in South Africa and offers an exquisite setting to explore the range of crisp, lively and refreshing sparkling and Méthode Cap Classique wines.

The cellar and vineyards nestle on part of the historic farm where French Huguenot, Jean le Roux, planted vines in Stellenbosch after fleeing Normandy in 1704. In 1982 The House of JC Le Roux was established as South Africa’s first dedicated sparkling wine cellar.

    There was alot of flies around our food and the pizza I ordered was cold. And the when we paid the full amount the waiter charged us a extra 75rand but when we calculated it was correct the money

    We were seated next to active maintenance work, which made it inaccessible and inappropriate to place a table of eight for a wine pairing—particularly on a busy Saturday with many visitors and tourists. The experience was very unpleasant. We were offered a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and relocated to another spot, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the bottle of Pongratz we received was completely flat, with no bubbles at all. The waiter mentioned it was likely old stock. At that point, we chose not to make a fuss, as the overall experience had already been ruined.
