Not only a restaurant, but a destination. We are magically positioned amongst the vineyards and offer seasonal menus that pays homage to the Klein Roosboom family roots.

Chef Lorianne Heyns takes an uncomplicated approach to food, delicately balancing flavours. Hers is the type of food you can eat every day of the week, but still feel as though you’re experiencing something truly wonderful. Lorianne’s food philosophy is to keep it simple, creative and seasonal and to only use the best quality ingredients available.

    The only comment is about the "tap water" - my friend and I tasted the glass of water we were given and both felt there was a problem with it. We were told it is borehole water!!! We asked for bottled sparling water instead.

    Music was a bit loud. Difficult to talk. A beautiful venue. Food was excellent. Definitely recommend the restaurant.

    Once again, Jean restaurant did not disappoint! We had a fabulous lunch on Saturday afternoon; the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Definitely the best winery in the North!

    The venue is lovely and the service is good but they have an extremely limited menu for vegetarians and they are extremely expensive. R240 for a basil pesto pasta and R170 for a grilled veg sandwich. It's really not difficult to add veg varieties of things like burgers to cater to a more diverse clientele at no risk to the business.
