Chef Lorianne Heyns takes an uncomplicated approach to food, delicately balancing flavours. Hers is the type of food you can eat every day of the week, but still feel as though you’re experiencing something truly wonderful. Lorianne’s food philosophy is to keep it simple, creative and seasonal and to only use the best quality ingredients available.

    We always enjoyed the food at Jean Restaurant, but unfortunately this time not so much.The poached eggs was over done and the toasted ciabatta difficult to cut with a very blunt knife. The umami sausage was full of flavour, but very dry. Ourr table was directly in the sun (inside seating) and no one offered to move us or even the table a little bit. Very disappointing.
