Chef Lorianne Heyns takes an uncomplicated approach to food, delicately balancing flavours. Hers is the type of food you can eat every day of the week, but still feel as though you’re experiencing something truly wonderful. Lorianne’s food philosophy is to keep it simple, creative and seasonal and to only use the best quality ingredients available.

    I recently visited Jean restaurant and was genuinely impressed by how far the team went to accommodate my strict vegetarian requirements. The chef prepared a custom meal that was both beautifully presented and full of flavour. It’s rare to find a place that not only understands dietary restrictions but embraces them with creativity and care. The staff checked in with me throughout the meal to ensure everything met my needs, and their warmth made the experience even better. The dish itself was vibrant, fresh, and clearly crafted with intention, not an afterthought, but a highlight. If you’re vegetarian or have specific dietary needs, this restaurant is an excellent choice. Their willingness to create something special made me feel truly valued as a guest.

    Our Waitress, Memory, what an absolute Gem💚 She made sure we were fine. Checking on us. When my Mum had a request she made sure my Mum got what she requested. Memory thank you for making our Breakfast and our Time a Beautiful Memory 💚
