Not only a restaurant, but a destination. We are magically positioned amongst the vineyards and offer seasonal menus that pays homage to the Klein Roosboom family roots.

Chef Lorianne Heyns takes an uncomplicated approach to food, delicately balancing flavours. Hers is the type of food you can eat every day of the week, but still feel as though you’re experiencing something truly wonderful. Lorianne’s food philosophy is to keep it simple, creative and seasonal and to only use the best quality ingredients available.

    Absolutely LOVED it there! From start to finish, the service was excellent, the staff was super friendly and efficient, the venue is lovely! Thank you to Charlize that managed everything perfectly to the T! You are most definitely one of my favourite restaurants.

    Our picnic experience at Jean Restaurant was absolutely wonderful. The setting was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully prepared, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy quality time together. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and the staff were warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The entire experience felt effortless and memorable, and it's clear that a great deal of care goes into creating such a lovely atmosphere. The only small suggestion I would make is to include some soft background music. Gentle, light music would have complemented the beautiful surroundings perfectly and elevated an already fantastic experience to something truly exceptional. Thank you to the entire team for a delightful day. We look forward to visiting again!
