Klein Joostenberg Picnics a very casual family friendly space where the whole family can relax and children can run and play. Come to enjoy a delicious al fresco meal in a laid back farm setting. This is an ideal venue for casual parties and family get-togethers. Reservations for groups are recommended, especially over weekends, public holidays and school holidays.

    Simply phenomenal! We had a great time and really enjoyed the experience. Beautiful gardens and venue, safe, great value!

    Staff not friendly at all. When we arrived we were abruptly told that they close at 2pm. Before 2pm I was told I cannot purchase a cool drink for my son. I was also handed a tray with food to carry while having a baby on my arm. I also politely asked someone to assist twice before that. This is not my first experience like this at the establishment. The staff definitely need more training, they are not helpful at all.

    Klein Joostenberg Picnics. A pure family vibe. We had such a lovely day. The food was tasty and perfect spot to chill, laugh & feast.

    We visited yesterday, and the venue is beautiful. Because we booked online, our table was reserved in the shade - perfect for a relaxed family outing. The food service was prompt and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. The charcuterie board is great value for money with a good selection of items. One small note: the bread on the board was extremely hard, and most of it went uneaten. Perhaps a softer option could be considered. All in all, this is a lovely spot that our family will definitely return to!

    Lovely space for kids to run and play, big lawns and trees providing shade. Menu is limited and not the best - could be improved since it’s the only option when having your picnic there. Had a fun day nevertheless.
