    We had a picnic for 2 and added our English Bulldog for lunch. The food including the Doggy Platter was simply incredible.

    Unfortunately, it ended up raining on the day we had booked. We had called beforehand to enquire whether the experience would still be as special and we were assured it would be. When we got to the venue, we had been put at the back-end of the Hotel next to a conference/storage room, under a small covering where it was cold and wet, with no ambience at all. We asked for a refund/to be able to move it to a later date, but we were told it would not be possible as they had already prepped the food. They were also fully booked, so couldn’t host us in the original room where they apparently move people to when it rains. We are sure the experience would be nice on a Sunny day, but we would have preferred that they had just been honest about the situation and moved us out to a later date, instead of trying to “fit us in” in a way that doesn’t live up to the standard/experience you’re paying for.

    Victor was the one assisting us for the day, and he was absolutely FABULOUS!! Very attentive, made a contingency plan when it started raining, which elevated our experience. Everything was spot on, it was a perfect day, great ambience and service. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you for everything.

    Ons het ons 29ste huweliksherdenking gevier met ’n piekniek by Kleinkaap Boutiek Hotel, en dit was absoluut ’n onvergeetlike ervaring! Die atmosfeer was romanties en rustig – perfek vir ’n spesiale geleentheid. Die piekniekmandjie was pragtig saamgestel met heerlike geregte wat nie net smaaklik was nie, maar ook baie stylvol voorgesit is. Elke happie was ’n bederf. ’n Groot dank aan Victor, ons kelner, wat die ervaring ekstra besonders gemaak het. Hy was vriendelik, professioneel en het ons regtig laat welkom voel. Sy aandag aan detail en opregte diens het alles nog meer spesiaal gemaak. Baie dankie, Kleinkaap, dat julle ons dag so onvergeetlik gemaak het – ons kon nie vir ’n beter viering van ons huweliksherdenking gevra het nie. Ons sal beslis weer terugkom!
