    Sadly this wasn't a great experience, and I'd say it was actually poor which is very disappointing. I'd previously come to La Parada and had a wonderful lunch with great service and fantastic food. This time, despite we phoning ahead to arrange tables next to each other for a large group and speaking to someone there so I assume was the manager, the tables were not arranged when we got there for our booking and the manager had neglected to inform me that there would be an exceptionally loud party with DJ (which made hearing conversation at lunch almost impossible) happening downstairs all of Sunday afternoon (throughout lunch and into the evening). He could have easily informed me of this on our call earlier in the week. They moved us upstairs, however, the sound carried right up to us and made it extremely hard to have even a basic conversation over lunch. We requested they can turn the music down, and they said this wasn't possible. They then ran out of our wine and the food was mediocre. I'd previously spoken very positively about La Parada, I'm afraid my view has changed.

    My family was so happy, food delivered on time. Beautiful performance,lovely songs and amazing vocals from the band. That what made me want to stay even more. The service from both management was excellent from the time we arrived until the end. Siyabonga kakhulu.

    Hi there, Meals and starters were overpriced for the plating value. Steak should come with a sauce and veg, all plates should be a fully plated meals. Those fries should be replaced with thicker potatoes chips. Meals looked incomplete, sane for all the meals. For a Saturday the restaurant was quiet. Lots of empty tables. Music was horrible, 90s music, we made requests to the DJ and they were ignored. Waste of money. Rather get a live singer with a keyboard and play music that people actually want to dance to. We left and went to another venue. We regretfully wont visit this venue again. Decor and restaurant setup was nice. Staff were lovely. Add value to the meals, u want return customers. Also don't force customers to pay tips by adding it to the bill. Tips are awarded on service and delivery and should be the customers choice - not yours. This is dbn not cpt.
