Warm and inviting in winter time, bright and airy in the summer months, La Pineta Restaurant is truly a venue for all seasons. From the terrace or lawn you can enjoy stunning views of Table Mountain and the Cape Winelands, while sipping on a crispy white from our extensive wine list. We cater for the entire family and sport an outside play park for the little ones. Treat your whole family to lunch under the pines or spend an entire evening in the welcoming glow of one of our open log fireplaces.

With our seasonal menus and refreshing blend of adventurous and classic dishes, we pride ourselves on being leaders in culinary trends. Using only the freshest local and international ingredients,we bring a twist to classic favourites and offer a variety of new dishes created exclusively for you to try.

We cater for functions to a maximum of 300 guests in restaurant. Our Private Dining Room can be booked for smaller functions (maximum 50 guests).

    We had invited our British house guests to enjoy a typical South African meal and the menu at La Pineta ticked all the boxes. The food was delicious and the service exceptional; I was brought the wrong main course by accident, a vegetable curry instead of the prawn and chicken curry, but our waiter spotted the mistake instantly and I just had to wait a short while until my main course was brought. Our guests also enjoyed the wines we chose, a Diemersdal Chenin Blanc and a La Motte Merlot.

    We had a wonderful 70th birthday dinner ,thank you so much to Omfingo,Themba,who were our very efficient waiters . Also to Asi who helped me with all the info and to Caitlyn and Franco who were so kind on the phone when we were organizing. The food is ALWAYS excellent . WE Love La Pineta!!! Thank you so much to everyone. Its the place to go!

    We had a 17 people for a 70th and were served very professionally by Ava and Jordan. I have received so many compliments about the occasion. Everything was top class. Thank you!
