Warm and inviting in winter time, bright and airy in the summer months, La Pineta Restaurant is truly a venue for all seasons. From the terrace or lawn you can enjoy stunning views of Table Mountain and the Cape Winelands, while sipping on a crispy white from our extensive wine list. We cater for the entire family and sport an outside play park for the little ones. Treat your whole family to lunch under the pines or spend an entire evening in the welcoming glow of one of our open log fireplaces.

With our seasonal menus and refreshing blend of adventurous and classic dishes, we pride ourselves on being leaders in culinary trends. Using only the freshest local and international ingredients,we bring a twist to classic favourites and offer a variety of new dishes created exclusively for you to try.

We cater for functions to a maximum of 300 guests in restaurant. Our Private Dining Room can be booked for smaller functions (maximum 50 guests).

    I absolutely Love La Pineta it was our third time there in less than 2 months after discovering it. I absolutely love the outdoor area for the kids and the tables outside makes it easier for us as parents to watch over them. The service is good depending on the waiter you get for the day. Overall the food has been good for the 3 times we went there, however I have to mention that their Eisbein the first time we were there was quite small but the second time my father in law had it, it was a decent size. We had our Sons 4th Birthday Party there and although I felt like they limited us with what we could bring in, in terms of snacks for the kids and not allowing the party packets on the table, it was a good decision as the kids absolutely wasn’t at the table. The food they had and the fruit platter was over enough. Overall my family and friends had the best day there according to the Children. So yay for kiddies parties to be hosted at La Pineta. The only downfall was that the waiters didn’t clear the tables often so this resulted in the flies being over bearing, but other than that the staff, food, location of the venue was perfect. Thank you La Pineta Staff and Owners for an unforgettable experience. You will certainly be seeing me and family there more often. Thank you to the hostess Kaitlyn that originally booked us. She was amazing throughout the entire experience.

    We have dined at La Pineta so many times over the last 16 years and have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent and a shout to Dani, the waitress who looked after us on our latest visit. She was superb and a great example as to how you should deal with your customers. We simply love La Pineta.

    Really hot inside restaurant not much airflow. Felt a bit rushed by our waiter after main meal to get pudding or pay.
