Warm and inviting in winter time, bright and airy in the summer months, La Pineta Restaurant is truly a venue for all seasons. From the terrace or lawn you can enjoy stunning views of Table Mountain and the Cape Winelands, while sipping on a crispy white from our extensive wine list. We cater for the entire family and sport an outside play park for the little ones. Treat your whole family to lunch under the pines or spend an entire evening in the welcoming glow of one of our open log fireplaces.

With our seasonal menus and refreshing blend of adventurous and classic dishes, we pride ourselves on being leaders in culinary trends. Using only the freshest local and international ingredients,we bring a twist to classic favourites and offer a variety of new dishes created exclusively for you to try.

We cater for functions to a maximum of 300 guests in restaurant. Our Private Dining Room can be booked for smaller functions (maximum 50 guests).

    Where do I start....the moment I entered the restaurant along with my guests it felt like home. The atmosphere, the food and the service was 10/10....I recommend this place to everyone...thank you so much...kingdom blessings to you. Your staff is amazing, friendly awesome

    I hosted my 50th birthday party for 28 guests at the private function room on Friday evening. The restaurant went out of their way to make my evening a special one. Everything delivered was as per my correspondence with them. The waiters were very accommodating and made sure that the evening went off as planned. The food was really exceptional and I have had so many guests comment on this. I chose 2 round harvest boards as a starter to share while we were enjoying drinks. I then selected 8 main dishes from the A La Carte menu for my guests to choose from for the main course. For dessert, I selected 3 types of minis which were presented on 2 platters, one for each of the 2 tables. There were mini milk tarts, apple tarts and chocolate tortes. I would recommend all of them! The tables were beautifully laid with a special menu printed for each place setting and I was really spoilt with a special dessert delivered to me with a sparkler so that everyone had the chance to sing happy birthday to me. All in all it was an excellent choice to have my special function at La Pineta. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I am so grateful for their excellent service.

    We celebrated my sister's 50th birthday here and it was simply amazing! Great restaurant, great food & not overpriced, friendly and professional staff - always willing to assist (they even assisted me with the deco/table setup) would 10/10 recommend

    We received a warm welcome at La Penita Stellenbosch and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere from beginning to end! The food is truly 5 star quality- absolutely delicious! Our waitress was both friendly and competent, making the experience even more enjoyable! A wonderful restaurant that I can highly recommend!

    everything fine except vegetables, not really to my taste (spinaches with cream and melted cheese ? and pumpkin more filling than healthy). a part from this, a perfect place for a nice dinner.
