For private events, our exclusive Private Cellar is available to book, seating between 10–18 guests, with a minimum spend of R750 per person.

    We recently celebrated Secretary's Day at the Lord Charles Hotel with our principals, and what an absolutely wonderful experience it was from the start to the finish. The buffet breakfast was delicious, beautifully presented, and offered such great variety. Every dish was fresh, flavourful, and throughly enjoyed by everyone. The value for money was exceptional, and the entire experience felt truly special. A special thank you to the incredible staff for their warm hospitality, professionalism, attentiveness, and outstanding service. You made us feel so welcome and ensured that everything ran smoothly. What touched us even more was the generosity of extending our time ny an additional 30 minutes, allowing us to relax, enjoy the beautiful ambience, and savour the delicious food without feeling rushed. The extra gesture truly meant so much to us. The atmosphere was elegant, peaceful, and perfect for such a special celebration. Thank you Lord Charles Hotel, for helping us create beautiful memories on Secretary's Day. We are truly grateful and would highly recommend your venue to anyone looking for exceptional food, value, service and ambience. A well deserved 5 star experience.     La Vigna restaurant offers a wide selection of fresh fruit, nuts and yogurt for those who enjoy a healthy lifestyle as well as a spread of traditional breakfast choices. The service is excellent and the staff attentive in a beautiful setting. I will highly recommend the buffet breakfast to locals as well as visitors to Cape Town.

    We had a wonderful experience with my daughter's Baby Shower yesterday at the Lord Charles Hotel. The buffet breakfast and the overall service of all the employees were superb. Will definitely be back. Special thanks to Portia and Stefan as well.

    The beautiful champagne breakfast had choices between warm and cold, sweet and savory and was absolutely delectable. Served with coffee, teas, juices and pastries. Loved the buffet style and so many choices to choose from.
