Our seasonal à la carte menu celebrates locally sourced ingredients, thoughtfully crafted into dishes inspired by Mediterranean traditions and South African favourites. Paired with an exceptional selection of regional wines, every meal at La Vigna is a journey of flavour, culture, and connection in the heart of the Cape Winelands.

For private events, our exclusive Private Cellar is available to book, seating between 10–18 guests, with a minimum spend of R750 per person.

    Foot was good value for the special. Waitress was lovely . Unfortunately for a beautiful hotel the restaurant itself was very disappointed. Absolutely bo ambiance- felt we were stirring in a fast food diner. For this reason we would not return.

    We booked with dineplan to enjoy the buffet breakfast at the lord Charles hotel. Making the reservation was easy and the spread of the buffet was unbelievable. Starting with cuppachino and continental side of breakfast, we moved on to cereal and then the fruits and yougurt section, after that one could choose from the cold meats and cheeses selection while sipping on a glass of juice from the juice bar. We headed for the warm buffet with all the trimmings one can dream of. Put in your request of how the eggs should be done and whalla you ate your tummy full to the brim! After dining with great service, you could stroll it off through the beautiful gardens.

    Well done, Lord Charles! I suggested celebrating a 50th birthday at the restaurant, and it was the perfect choice. Theresa and Steven provided outstanding service to our group of 16 ladies, making us feel welcome and well looked after throughout the morning The food was absolutely amazing, and my friend had the best birthday celebration. Thank you for making it such a memorable occasion. Highly recommended!

    We were warmly welcomed by all staff but Grizelda our host was exceptional. There was a big variety of breakfast spread prepared. The food prepared was fresh and the pastries was absolutely delicious. Will definitely come again and recommend it to family and friends.

    The property is no ordinary hotel - in fact it is exquisite in every way - the views are picturesque and the ambiance is as trendy as it is welcoming - manager: Stefan exhausted all avenues to ensure a memorable experience - our waiter: Kaylee was attentive, yet never intrusive - her passion for excellence impressed us - we quite enjoyed how she articulates herself when explaining the different menu options - the food was great, in particular the pork belly - the chef serves the best malva pudding - we highly recommend this establishment and will certainly return.

    It was my birthday on Saturday and the team on duty went beyond to make it so very special. The hostess Grizelda is amazing! She sang a beautiful blessing over me and I and my friends were just blown away....an experience never to be forgetten!! Thank you Lord Charles and your amazing serving teams ❤️
