A SOPHISTICATED WINE EXPERIENCE

The Lanzerac Tasting Room is open seven days a week and offers its patrons the opportunity to explore the Estate’s range of acclaimed wines in a relaxed atmosphere whilst surrounded by the breath-taking views of the Stellenbosch valley. Guests are invited to enjoy a selection of tailor-made tastings suited to individuals or groups in the comfort of the well-appointed Tasting Room or on the veranda overlooking the scenic vineyards. The daily cellar tours, guided by one of the Estate’s expert Wine Advisors, offer visitors the opportunity to tour the working wine cellar and explore the rich heritage of the Estate.

    A bit too dark inside the Deli for our liking - we like to see what we are eating. It was an overcast day - so not much light coming in from outside.

    It was the second time coming to the Lanzerac Deli. This time I came for my birthday and was disappointed by the food. The scones were good (my instruction was ignored regarding them which is a minus) and the lamb kebabs were very disappointing considering I had come specifically for them.The Kebabs were tough and dry. Additionally, the Iced coffee was fine. I expected more. Service was fine in the beginning, but they lost me as soon as I had to stand and find my waiter to request the bill after moments of waiting. And the fact that they ignored my order request is an additional minus. Not a great start to my birthday. I think I’ll celebrate the next one at another wine farm.

    Great and beautiful place with enough outdoor seating. Friendly staff and always responsive to a request.
