    My experience of the Grand Life Cafe was amazing. I enjoyed the food...the ambience...the service that we recieved from Samantha was top tier...she was friendly...so attentive on a busy day and we truly appreciate that she was our server. I will definitely be back...this mothersday was definitely one for the books...even with bad weather...we were cozy inside and really didn't want to leave that is how much we enjoyed it. I will be back soon...Thank you so much Grand Life Cafè...keep up the great work...my mom Victoria really enjoyed mother's day ❤❤❤ Thank you once again...it was truly an amazing experience.

    The restaurant was very cosy on a stormy day (lashing rain outside, roaring fires inside); Prince delivered delightfully enthusiastic service and the food was superb - in the past I have associated Life Grand Cafe with lighter, summery food (always delicious), but given the weather I chose the oxtail and I think it might be my new favourite dish - meat falling off the bone, accompanied by a delicious assortment of roasted veg and very smooth potato mash! I will always lament the removal from the menu of the Chocolate & Cherries dessert, but the tiramisu was excellent and I would definitely have that again. My guests thoroughly enjoyed the pork shank, ribs, and fish & chips, and the waffles and pannacotta were highly rated.

    Great set up but I feel the service was not that great . We went for Saturday breakfast and a very polite lady welcomed us and took us to our seat. I booked the restaurant due to free mimosas being served with breakfast but when we wanted to order it we were told the special is done . There were a few staff members gathered around and when our waiter went to go enquire regarding the special one of the lady waiters told our waiter that I should have asked about the special when we arrived which I think was rather rude since it was something constantly being advertised on Facebook. The waiter then said it is fine to give is the ‘special’. At the time I felt not to address the lady waiter’s comment it as it was my mom’s special morning and I did not want to spoilt it . We were served bitter chicken livers and when we raised it the waiter he just advised it was taken off the bill- no apologies by himself nor a manager . The rest of the food was good but our meal was spoilt by this horrible livers . Maybe we didn’t fit the calibre of people who usually attends the restaurant hence the nonchalant treatment? I will never visit this establishment again .
