    Was celebrating my husband birthday but the food was so disappointing The braai was burned ,we asked to make steak they told us it takes to long We always come to lingela but this time the food was terrible not value for money The pasta was like soup and the prawns was not cooked properly 😕 Very bad

    The guy that was grilling the chops had no customer service he want to do what he want all I did I asked him for the dinner plate he said just wait for that. On the second time I asked him for chops well done on spare rib sauce on it when I got to my table he put nothing on it. As for the dinner plates was all the time sort. I visit this place quite frequently. Sad to see staff behaviour in this manner

    Visited Lingela on Friday 31 July 2026. After all the reviews that i had seen and heard of, i have to admit it really did live up to expectation. Lovely ambience, and live music. The range of food was phenomenal, but in spite of the variety on offer, i chose to eat exactly what i wanted to. I chose the prawns, calamari steak (best I've ever eaten) and the fresh fish. The guy at the grilling station, Simphiwe was simply amazing, he was quick, friendly and very efficient. Besides the seafood i had the lamb chops with mushroom sauce, which again was done to perfection. The desert range was incredible and really appealing to the eye. It was a post birthday supper for me and Lingela acknowledged that by giving me a beautiful looking 3 layer multi-colored mini cake with Happy Birthday written in chocolate sauce. I highly recommend Lingela to anyone that's thinking of going. I will most definitely be going back

    What a lovely experience . The food the was lovely please consider adding a traditional african menu..the service was excellent our Waiter Meshack was professional and friendly keep it up.. Please try and sort out the malva pudding someone dropped the ball on the 02/08/26 lunch…

    I real enjoyed all my dishes but Braai meat is my number one, The lamb chops were juice and tender
