    We called in yesterday morning at your receptionist and asked them if they serve lamb sausages. She replied NO but said they have lamb wors. We were happy with that. When we got there, we wanted to eat lamb wors but was advised that they do not serve lamb wors. This was truly disappointing as they lied to us. Also, there were flies around the tables. We really wanted to eat the lamb wors or sausages as we do not eat beef or pork.

    I have been to the lingela buffet a few times and it just gets better and better. The food and service is very pleasing

    Waiter service was non existemt. Had to wait a long time for waiter to come to table even after calling for him through the ladies at the cash desk. Waited almost 10 minutes for the people to bring out vanilla icecream as the ice cream container was empty. That was unacceptable. Tables were not cleared from the table and we had to dump plate upon plate to make space for the new plate of food. Cutlery not replenished. I go here often but last nights experience was not pleasant....even though the restaurant was not busy.

    This was my second visit to Lingela and I shall definitely return. There is no other establishment in Durban that serves a spread of such variety and high standard. There are many places that make curry in Durban and many claim to make the best curry but the curry's prepared at Lingela, are in my opinion the way a curry should be. The curry's have the right flavour of spices and aromatic flavours. Lingela sets the benchmark as the Gold Standard when it comes to curry. The live singing was most enjoyable. The singer had a good repour and selection of songs, yet the volume should be a bit softer in the early stage of the evening and gradually increase volume once the majority of tables clear.
