    Visited Lingela on Friday 31 July 2026. After all the reviews that i had seen and heard of, i have to admit it really did live up to expectation. Lovely ambience, and live music. The range of food was phenomenal, but in spite of the variety on offer, i chose to eat exactly what i wanted to. I chose the prawns, calamari steak (best I've ever eaten) and the fresh fish. The guy at the grilling station, Simphiwe was simply amazing, he was quick, friendly and very efficient. Besides the seafood i had the lamb chops with mushroom sauce, which again was done to perfection. The desert range was incredible and really appealing to the eye. It was a post birthday supper for me and Lingela acknowledged that by giving me a beautiful looking 3 layer multi-colored mini cake with Happy Birthday written in chocolate sauce. I highly recommend Lingela to anyone that's thinking of going. I will most definitely be going back

    What a lovely experience . The food the was lovely please consider adding a traditional african menu..the service was excellent our Waiter Meshack was professional and friendly keep it up.. Please try and sort out the malva pudding someone dropped the ball on the 02/08/26 lunch…

    Beautiful set and the food was great. Will recommend to friends and family. Just with regards to the booking, I made a reservation and confirmed again on the day of attendance however when we arrived, our names were not on the list. I think that's just needs to be looked into but either than that everything was lovely.

    Not sure every time we phone try to make a booking, without a doubt we get told it is fully booked and we get put on to a waiting list until the day before and then get told our bookng is confirmed. Is this standard practice or bad planning.
