As the seasons change, so do we here at Louisvale. A delicious escape from city living, wonderfully prepared food in an extremely authentic Winelands setting. In order to keep things always fresh and new, we change our menu seasonally. Our focus is to produce fresh and home-made dishes to tantalize the taste buds.

    Absolutely loved everything from the service, it was a bit busy with 2-3 birthday lunches or big groups, I was solo and I was never neglected, service was very quick and seamless. the food was delicious 100/10, props to the Chef. Only thing I couldn't finish was the wine, it was warm and not so great, but maybe that's just the wine I ordered. overall experience? I'll be coming back .

    Food was a 3/10, we had their Hake and stuffed potato, potato was okayish but the fish was horrible

    Lovely view, food, service and waiter ... maybe just one note ... I asked for a tiny taste of the barrel matured Chardonnay, so that we could decide, if we wanted to order a bottle with our lunch ... our waiter gladly offered this tasting and we liked the wine, so I ordered a bottle ... He brought a bottle, pulled the cork and proceeded to pour a glass for both my fiancé and me ... It is probably safer to first pour a tasting sample from the fresh bottle, for the person who ordered it, to taste ... in case of a corked wine ... I do appreciate that the Chardonnay is bottled under a "technical cork", with much lower incidence of cork/tca problems, but rather safe than sorry ... The wine turned out healthy and went well with our food, so no harm was done ... We had a lovely experience at Louisvale !
