We had an excellent meal and the service was outstanding, it was just a pity the restaurant was so quiet. I hope more people return to dining at this restaurant because it really is amazing but would be better with more tables busy.

The food was good except for the lamb shank, which is a shame as this was generally the best dish, in our opinion. Previously the lamb shank was on a bed of risotto with the baby vegetables on the side. Now, everything is mixed together and drenched in the sauce, making it more of a stew. The location and view is good. The service was impersonal and we felt our waiter was not very accommodating to our requests.

This was quite the worst meal out I have ever experienced. First of all the place was empty, and remained that way for the entire meal.We were the only guests. I should have walked away at once. Then the waitress (Hope) seemed untrained, and mixed up our courses. but the worst experience of all was when I did not finish my minestrone, which was so salty it was actually inedible. I didn't say anything, but when Hope took it away, looking at it curiously, I told he it was way too salty. then the chef, Hamilton, came to our table, and looming over me threateningly, told me that 4 of them, including the executive chef, said that it tasted fine. I said it was not fine at all. He kept insisting that I was wrong (what happened to "the customer is always right?"), in a most rude manner. He should have apologised and possibly offered me something else. The I was charged for the minestrone on the bill, which was not fair at all. I shall never dine there again, and tell everyone on my social media platforms of the shocking behaviour of this chef. He deserves to be dismissed.
