    We had the most wonderful girls’ dinner at Lunacy last night. Every part of the evening exceeded our expectations. The menu is anything but what you’d expect from a wine bar. Riaan has done an incredible job creating dishes that are creative, thoughtfully put together, and full of flavour. It’s so refreshing to find a wine bar with a menu that’s far from the usual simple selection and every dish felt unique and beautifully executed. The ambiance was intimate, moody, and effortlessly stylish, making it the perfect setting for a long catch-up with friends. A special mention to Marcel, whose wine recommendations were phenomenal. He took the time to understand what we enjoyed and suggested wines that we all loved. His knowledge and genuine hospitality really elevated the experience. From the exceptional food and attentive service to the beautiful atmosphere, everything was outstanding. An easy 5/5, and I’ll definitely be back!

    Food genuinely beats most tasting-menu fine-dining establishments in taste and inventiveness. I knew the wine list was great but its the first time going to dinner and every plate was brilliant. Oxtail makes me happy, exceptional oxtail thrills me.

    An absolutely wonderful experience. Fantastic wines by the glass and bottle. Of course, the food is delicious. The service was absolutely spectacular.
