    We had a wonderful dining experience overall. The calamari starter was delicious—tender, flavourful, and perfectly cooked. The prawn starter was equally impressive and a great way to begin the meal. For my main course, I chose the musselcracker, and it was outstanding. The fish was cooked to perfection. The only disappointment was the sweet potato crème brûlée. While I appreciate the chef's creativity, it wasn't quite what I expected from a crème brûlée. I'm more accustomed to the classic version, and this interpretation didn't quite appeal to my taste. Despite that, the quality of the starters and main course as well as the excellent service from a very attentive waitress, made for a very enjoyable meal.

    The food was great but not quite 5*. I would give it 4.5* but the system doesn't allow that. The mushroom and asparagus starter was truly delicious and I was impressed that they went the extra mile and made a dairy free very delicious dressing for me. My salmon, while still delicious, was overcooked. I'd asked for medium and expected to still have some translucence in the middle but it was cooked right through. My husband's ceviche while delicious didn't seem like it had been marinated for long enough, if at all. His grilled soul was perfectly cooked however the buttery sauce was much too thick he felt. The side of rustic fries were very disappointing, didn't seem to be fresh and hand cut by the restaurant. The service was excellent.

    Simply one of the best places to eat. The food was so delicious, the presentation on point. Absolutely fantastic and can’t wait to go back to Luuma!

    Another superb lunch in a beautiful setting, choosing from probably Cape Town’s most impressive and imaginative fish menu. Service, as ever (from Mr.T and Michelle), was well-informed, friendly and helpful.
