    Voltar após 15 anos no Mama África foi memorável. Ambiente convidativo para vivenciar a atmosfera da África do Sul, pela boa comida, música típica, ambiente descontraído e ótimo atendimento. Recomendo! Returning to Mama Africa after 15 years was memorable. An inviting environment to experience the atmosphere of South Africa, with good food, typical music, a relaxed atmosphere, and great service. I recommend it!

    I was not impressed at all. The food was just ok, nothing to write home about, but definitely overpriced. I ordered Egusi soup and the tripe was undercooked. Out of all the dishes ordered by my family, I can only recommend the roasted veggies. The cocktails (Rho ya mama and Virunga) were really good and refreshing, but also overpriced (R125 a pop). Our waitress was not knowledgeable and her service was not great. She made a face when I asked for tap water instead of bottled water. I wasn't going to start lecturing her on the environmental dangers of plastic. Live entertainment was great. NOTE that they add R50 pp to the bill for this, but the entertainers still ask for donations to be placed in the basket. Very strange and awkward.

    I enjoyed my time at the restaurant. The customer service was good along with the food and the band. Keep up the good work.

    The food was delicious, the music was beautiful. The service could have been faster and limited options for regular drinks Definitely going back

    I had been there years ago and I remembered having a great experience with African music and a nice show. This time there was a private party so no African band and they didn’t let us know beforehand. The food was also average. Plantains and cassava tasteless, very mild curry and plastic tablecloths which made the place look very cheap. Very disappointing
