    The service was (most of the time) dissapointing, it took more than 20min to ours drinks to be served, and the waitress that was serving our table was never in the saloon to help us with our orders.

    Mixed experience at Mama Africa. We wouldn’t recommend the tasting menu—most of the meat was quite tough, and the flavors didn’t appeal to us. The portions were small considering the high price, and unfortunately, one of us felt unwell the next day. While the atmosphere was lively and the staff genuinely warm and welcoming, the experience felt more commercial than authentically African. Also worth noting: the surrounding area didn’t feel very safe, especially at night. Overall, not a place we’d return to.

    A comida tradicional é péssima, tempero ruim, pouca quantidade, preço exagerado exploratório para turista. Nao adianta reservar mesa porque ao chegar está lotado. O ambiente é muito animado e o serviço é rápido.

    Unfortunately you had no bobotie anymore snd we would have expected Malva pudding or melktaart on the menu

    All meat inedible. We had the taster menu with a separate tasteless chicken dish. Staff and atmosphere were great with excellent music from the band.
