    I was a quite disappointed to find that our table wasn’t where I requested out booking to be. I paid a few rands extra to be put on the deck but I got moved to a table in front of the bar to accommodate another party, after I’ve booked in advance. The table I got was also not a 12 seater but an 8 seater. They had to add another table after I pointed it out, which didn’t make sense with the booth size we had so a few friends were hidden behind the booth armrest. At the end of night when the bill came I was under the impression that my R1200.00 deposit would come off the bill. There was no deposit taken off the bill and I had to enquire about my deposit. Only afterwards I was told that they have now transferred my deposit back into my account but it will take 48 hours to reflect. This was not ideal for me and was not what I was told in advance when making the booking. The whole purpose of booking and paying a deposit in advance is so that you don’t have to sit with a situation on your hands when the time comes especially if it’s your own birthday celebration. All in all we made the best of the situation and the waiter was lovely. It’s just disappointing because if you’re going to require a R1200.00 deposit to book in advance for 12 people, it would be nice to fully accommodate that booking in advance.

And thank you for coming to Mamacitas - the booking deposit is via Dineplan to secure your booking - I’m not sure how you paid extra money to have a specific seat? This isn’t offered by us at all. The deposit is paid to Dineplan - not to us. Dineplan refunds your deposit within 24/48 hours - we do not receive any money from Dineplan and this is a service we pay for from them. Thank you

    We had such a blast for my birthday celebration at Mamacita's on Harrington! The food was authentic, TASTY and absolutely divine! The beef tacos are flavourful, the nachos have the right amount of kick and the drinks are top class. I have never seen such a variety of cocktails and tequila options! Our waitress, Eldie, was so amazing - friendly, up for a laugh and beautiful energy! The service staff, including the manager are a vibe! The DJ played an amazing set and had the crowds dancing until the very end. I highly recommend Mamacita's on Harrington for a fun, energetic and tantalizing experience! They certainly get my Ole'!!! - Natasha Daniels

    Our waiter Zuks was really great, excellent service - I think he's new. He's the absolute best!

    What a lovely place and vibe. I loved their spicy mango cocktails. The food was out of this world. Their ribs was amazing as were the pulled pork burito. Its a viby place with the most friendly staff. Will deffo be back again
