    Definitely a hidden gem, last night was the first time that I ate at Maras. It was an experience to be remembered with a yearning to return for more. From the moment I was welcomed with a warm smile and shown to my table, I knew I was in for something special. The service was impeccable—comparable to that of a 5-star Michelin restaurant, yet it retained a genuine, lived-in warmth that is so rare to find. From the starters to the desserts, the food was, simply put, out of this world. Each dish shot out at me with both flavour authenticity and artistic finesse. It was a masterclass in balance, proving that the kitchen doesn’t just cook food—they craft memories. It’s rare to find a place that manages to feel both incredibly high-end and deeply personal. Maras treats culinary excellence as an art form rather than a routine, and the staff invited us into that passion with every course. Truly a rare find that I’ll be recommending to everyone I know. I’m already counting down the days until my next visit!

    We had such a homely experience at Marras for a baby shower. They have perfectly green grass, the staff would assist in any possible way and the food was divine! We’ll definitely be back soon!

    very nice vibe, with a good winelist. Not only the nice Marras wines also a short list from other Swartland wines. Service from kitchen a bit slow, but it was a fully booked Sunday. We will come back.
