Medeo restaurant at the Palazzo offers a distinctly Mediterranean inspired menu prepared with excellent South African produce and paired with some of the country’s top wines. The Executive Chef and his team present a selection of classic dishes and have created delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus in one of Fourways’ best restaurants.

The restaurant’s large terrace and deck area overlooks the beautiful Palazzo koi pond as well as the citrus trees and roses of the hotel’s Tuscan gardens. Whether you choose to dine inside or enjoy the warm South African climate alfresco, Medeo is one of the most beautiful restaurant settings in Johannesburg.

The menu at Medeo can be paired with an excellent wine list that includes a selection of rare Auction Wines.

    Oh it was beautiful an amazing experience, went for my birthday ohh man 🥹❤️☕️definitely going back again. Stuff and everyone was so warm and welcoming. Mr Hartley thank you for your service.

    Made a booking for high tea via website. Was turned away, as the food wasn’t prepared. This wasn’t clear on the booking website. Super disappointed

    It was my daughters birthday and this restaurant spoiled her experience for the day. Food was terrible and served cold., service minimal.Not what I would have expected from a restaurant at the Palazzo. It was quiet on the day we were there as well so there should have been no excuse. We did not send the food back and complain as we were attending a show after and we did not have time. . Definitely will not be returning, not worth the money.

    For starters we ordered the prawns and Palazzo salad. The prawns were undercooked and the chicken in the salad lacked seasoning. For mains, we order the pork ribs, pork belly and the line fish bouillabaisse. The line fish meal was inedible, the tortellini was undercooked and the meal did not smell fresh. The pork belly was ok, however the dumpling was overcooked. The ambiance was great, as was the service. However the food dampened our experience.
