Medeo restaurant at the Palazzo offers a distinctly Mediterranean inspired menu prepared with excellent South African produce and paired with some of the country’s top wines. The Executive Chef and his team present a selection of classic dishes and have created delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus in one of Fourways’ best restaurants.

The restaurant’s large terrace and deck area overlooks the beautiful Palazzo koi pond as well as the citrus trees and roses of the hotel’s Tuscan gardens. Whether you choose to dine inside or enjoy the warm South African climate alfresco, Medeo is one of the most beautiful restaurant settings in Johannesburg.

The menu at Medeo can be paired with an excellent wine list that includes a selection of rare Auction Wines.

    We had a wonderful afternoon enjoying all the delicious high tea treats. The surroundings and ambience contributed to the experience. I would highly recommend spoiling yourself and your loved ones to the high tea

    Elizabeth and.the rest of the staff gave us excellent service. The food was exquisite. Except for the duck, it lacked considering how the rest of the other meals were so amazing. Overall I enjoyed my wife's birthday celebration in style. 10//10

    Beautiful setting but the food was awful, I specifically booked and requested vegetarian and was served beef, as someone who has never eaten meat and having communicated no meat prior to the booking I was flabbergasted at the blatant lack of attention to detail. the phyllo pastry was soggy, the scones were hard and tasted like chalk, if I hadn't had tea to wash it down I would have choked, not to mention everything was incredibly tiny, some of the items on the menu were not actually served on the tray, the only nice item was the iced tea at the beginning. It being the palazzo and the price I paid for the high tea, I expected so much more, I am sorely disappointed and will never book another high tea there again. The waiter was friendly but the service in terms of what I had booked for and the quality of the food was frankly pathetic.
