Fifteen years ago, something very special happened to us. The Miya and Hassim families became one. The name MiHa is a celebration of that union.

In some cultures, MiHa is used as a term of endearment for someone who is dear to you. So, we thought it was apt, as our little restaurant is very dear to us.

MiHa is the coming together of a casual café and classic dining experience. From a quick grab-and-go to a decadent celebratory feast, MiHa brings together the simple and the sumptuous. We serve international cuisine and have curated some of the best flavours from around the world but with our own South African touch.

We have not focused on any one specific food type. Rather, we have focused on you, our guest. Our restaurant concept is designed to give you what you feel like - what food you are in the mood for or whatever your occasion may call for. Taste and variety designed around you.

    Great breakfast buffet. The food was well presented and flavourful. The desserts were absolutely delicious! All the food and desserts were refilled as they got finished, speedily. It would be nice if there was unlimited masala tea (ready made and put into an Urn) and coffee sachets, as well as a variety of juices. Would highly recommend.

    We arrived at the place and our table wasn’t ready even though we made a reservation. They took quite some time before taking our order as well as bringing our food.

    Excellent service and satisfactory variety of both sweet and savoury options. The breakfast buffet is great value for money. I'll revisit when in JHB again.

    Hi. We were 11 of us at your restaurant yesterday for my GF birthday and yes we had a great time and the food was good as well. One thing though which I am annoyed about is that the bill included a tip and I was not aware of this so in the end, I paid almost. 25% tip. This is extremely unprofessional and we as customers must be told before this happens. I treated my friends so I had paid it all. As much as I am very for making sure wait staff are tipped as they probably don’t earn much and it’s actually ok that I left a R1000 tip on a R4000 bill - this must be communicated to the customer before. Really not acceptable
