Welcome to Mila at Doolhof Mila is a relaxed day restaurant on Doolhof Wine Estate in Wellington, set in the estate’s original 19th-century wagon house. Filled with natural light and surrounded by nature, it’s the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the farm.

We serve fresh, seasonal dishes paired with Doolhof’s award-winning wines - all in a warm, welcoming setting.

While you’re here, enjoy wine tastings, picnics, e-bike rentals, walking trails, horse riding lessons, pony rides, and a jungle gym for the kids.

    Picnic was lovely , food was lovely. However the adult picnic pack, we never received any cutlery and nothing sweet for the adults. Kids had soooo much finger food and was lovely. To make up for not adding cutlery we did receive a 2 x free slush puppies for kids and they were happy. We didn’t bother mentioning that the brownies( something sweet was missing from Adult basket) It was all delicious though.

    We were really looking forward to this lunch, only to arrive and be informed at the security gate that everything was closed due to a private wedding. The guard did let us in after I showed my confirmed booking on WhatsApp, clearly indicating the day, date, and time. Once inside, the bride informed us that they had booked out the entire venue. However, I could not find any staff from Doolhof to explain why the day had not been blocked off on the website, especially since we had driven all the way from Paarl only to arrive at a closed venue. I find this extremely unprofessional, and we were very disappointed.
