Situated on the beautiful Lourensford Wine Estate at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains in Somerset West, The Millhouse Kitchen offers a beautiful venue to enjoy a meal or celebrate a special event.

Owner Rob Smailes and Chef Gustaaf Boshoff's aim is to create a neighbourhood feel where guests can relax while enjoying a meal together. Our menus are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and children are always welcome..

    🎉 Millhouse Kitchen Magic! 🎉 Had my birthday breakfast here with the family, and wow — what a treat! The flapjacks were next-level, and our waitress was an absolute star — hilarious, kind, and full of good vibes. Great food, great laughs, and a seriously happy start to the day. Highly recommend! 💛✨

    Highly recommended. Only negative was it was rather noisy inside to the extent that to hear conversation across the table was difficult.

    Food was cold..chicken burger was overcooked and slightly burnt…mayo was too much… chips were cold! Steak was so tough you could not cut it and steak knives no good! Chips also cold! Pizzas difficult to cut also…..very very disappointing! Informed manager who admitted that food was not good and that they had their B staff in kitchen that night!!! Kitchen was hectic!!! Make up your own mind regarding visiting there!
