Situated on the beautiful Lourensford Wine Estate at the foot of the Helderberg Mountains in Somerset West, The Millhouse Kitchen offers a beautiful venue to enjoy a meal or celebrate a special event.

Owner Rob Smailes and Chef Gustaaf Boshoff's aim is to create a neighbourhood feel where guests can relax while enjoying a meal together. Our menus are inspired by fresh, seasonal ingredients and children are always welcome..

    Excellent food, I can recommend the pizzas as well as the Sri Lankan seafood curry. Reasonably priced estate wine on the menu, great service from the waitress and other staff. Only issue to mention is that the glassed in area of the restaurant becomes very noisy. Other than that, we'll be back!

    Our waitress rushed us the whole night. Couldn't open the wine with the corkscrew, said she'd dropped a bottle previously trying. Offered desert before 3rd person was finished eating and we were given our bill before asking for it. Had special friends visiting and we're in and out in 90min.
