We decided to have dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. The seating was comfortable. Welcoming, pleasant, hostess and waitress service. The food was well prepared (lamb shank, mussels and ginger chicken - main meals), presented and served at comfortable dining temperature including the served portions No complaints in any way. Furthermore upon leaving and waiting for our e-hailing service, the porter at the entrance went ahead of us to ensure that we boarded the correct vehicle booked. Lovely experience. Sure to return.

Good day, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding my recent high tea experience at your hotel on Saturday. In December, I visited your hotel for high tea for the first time. As someone who has enjoyed high teas at establishments such as One&Only Cape Town, The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, The Silo Hotel, and Mount Nelson, A Belmond Hotel, I was intrigued by your menu and reputation as a 5-star luxury hotel. My first visit was enjoyable overall, apart from the scones, and therefore I confidently booked again for this past weekend to celebrate with friends. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and honestly quite embarrassing in front of my guests. Before arriving, I had specifically called regarding parking arrangements as my mother recently underwent foot surgery. I was assured that porters would assist us and that parking would not be a problem. However, upon arrival there were no porters available. I eventually had to search for assistance myself, only to be told to park across the road because staff were too busy. For a luxury 5-star establishment, this was shocking. There was no warm welcome or assistance — staff appeared more focused on avoiding interaction than helping guests. The waitstaff themselves were friendly, but service was disorganized. We received cold tea and then had to wait for teaspoons and milk. The savory items looked visually appealing, but the quality and taste were nowhere near the standard of my previous visit or the menu I was sent beforehand. Most items missing and TERRIBLE
