    We were recently in Johannesburg and staying in Rosebank. Our local contact highly recommended Modern Tailors, and he couldn't have been more spot-on! We live in the Yucatán in Mexico, and we don't have great Indian food. This had to be the best indian food we've had since visiting India. We liked it so much we went back a second time. On the first visit, we had a trainee as our server, and not only did she do a great job, but, coming from a restaurant background, I LOVED watching the supervising servers give her space while also watching her closely. Well done!

    Excellent Indian cuisine in a cosy and comfortable setting. We had the tandoori platter which was very tasty and included 4 different types of meat, and a vegetable curry. The service was quick and very responsive.

    Modern tailors was an absolute experience. From the themed decor and little touches like the little box the bill came in with a small sewing machine on it, to the restrooms called "fitting rooms", we enjoyed the ambiance very much. The food was totally divine, we were really pleased. We had the vegetable breyani, the veg thali and the okra fry. All absolutely divine. We celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary there, and they made it special with a little dessert on the house - totally delicious and special! Will definitely recommend and be going back again soon!
