Montanelli's Family Restaurant was born in 2019 with the purpose of offering a stylish, family-friendly restaurant with a modern feel and exceptional food - situated in the heart of Montana, Pretoria.

    We had a wonderful time celebrating with family and friends. The food was delicious and offered excellent value for money. However, our experience was negatively affected by the service. There was no self-service station available for juice and coffee with the breakfast buffet, and our waiter did not offer these beverages to our table. We would not have minded serving ourselves, but there was nothing available. When we eventually requested juice and coffee, we had to wait approximately 20–30 minutes for the drinks to arrive. To make matters worse, we were billed for the juice and coffee at the end of our visit, despite advertisements and posters outside the restaurant clearly stating that these beverages are included with the breakfast buffet. The service we received was disappointing, and our waiter was a major letdown. We had booked our table for 25 guests several weeks in advance and expected that sufficient, experienced staff would be allocated to accommodate a group of that size. Unfortunately, this was not the case. We would like to return to your restaurant for future celebrations, as we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. However, the level of service we received on this occasion was unacceptably poor and needs significant improvement.

    Thank you so much. We celebrated our daughter's 21st birthday, and it was a great experience doing it at Montenellis. Everything was ready when we arrived, the waiters was on top of our drinks and food orders, and the night was a great success. Thank you so much. Definitely a must.

    Went for the Sunday Biffet, and what a lovely experience. The food was delicious and the service prompt and friendly. Will definitely be back.
