Welcome to Mythos Irene Village Mall, the home of authentic Greek cuisine. Take a seat at our table and pick on some meze dishes that were made to be shared or tuck into some of our signature Kleftiko lamb, then finish it all off with our unforgettable baklava. Our recipes have been handed down through the family for generations, so you always get genuine Greek flavours and experiences. We even import many of our key ingredients from Greece! Our authentic Greek culinary approach has won us the title of Best Greek Restaurant in the Best of Joburg, Best of Pretoria and Best of Ekurhuleni Reader’s Choice Awards from 2013 to 2019.

    I really enjoyed the chicken chops dish, it was delicious. The baklava ice cream was mouth-watering.

    The food is truly fantastic, albeit a tad expensive. Well worth it... Service was great and we really got what we were looking for. See you again, soon.

    We celebrated my mom’s birthday yesterday at Mythos, and what started as a lovely dinner turned into something truly unforgettable. Earlier that morning, my mom asked for a sign that my late brother, who passed away in May last year, would somehow still be part of her birthday this year. To our complete shock, our waiter introduced himself as Brandon — the exact same name as my brother. Brandon, if you happen to read this, I want to apologise for laughing when you told us your name. It was pure shock and emotion on our side. What you didn’t know is that you became part of a very special and emotional moment for our family. We went home crying tears of joy. Not only was the experience emotionally meaningful, but the service itself was exceptional. Brandon was attentive, professional, and incredibly in tune with his work. He always seemed to know exactly when we needed something and truly went the extra mile to make the evening special. The food was absolutely delicious, the prices were fantastic, and I can honestly say you serve the best strawberry milkshake I have ever had in Pretoria. Thank you, Brandon, and thank you Mythos, for giving us a dinner we will never forget. We will most definitely be back.
