Nederburg Manor Restaurant is an absolute gem for the whole family. Imagine wide, open lawns, expansive play area and delicious food and wine. Perfect for a Sunday lunch and play.

What a disgusting experience from this great venue. The picnic was extremely disappointing. The food was generally inedible. All the food was really cold. Even the Hot Cross buns. The chef need a lesson in baking. They were doughy and inedible . As for the rest of the items in the tins, left much to be desired. The picnic area is listed as a self service area, I’m not sure what this actually meant. Avoid at all costs. The bad food and ‘self service ‘ experience was not enjoyed by anyone. A total rip off. Our German visitors could not believe that Heineken would be associated with this poor quality food and lack of service. We cannot recommend this establishment. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Nederburg responded on Tue 14 Apr 26:
Dear Clive, Thank you for your feedback. I am truly sorry for the experience you had, and I fully acknowledge your disappointment. I have already been in direct contact with you, offered my sincere apologies, and processed a full refund. Your concerns particularly around the confusion regarding the self‑service picnic offering are being actively looked into. We regret that this visit did not reflect the standard you had previously enjoyed at Nederburg, and I appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can correct it.
