    Loved it. Celebrated my wife's birthday. Vuyi could not do enough! Continues to be our favourite breakfast spot in Joburg.

    I ordered the Brazilian seafood stew. It was tasteless (looked like the sauce was thickened with flour), and very badly prepared. The seafood was overcooked. It did not have any coconut milk or acidity- totally disappointing. I had eaten this dish about two years ago and it was really delicious. We went back a few months later just to have this dish and it was not available. Hence. I asked my daughter too to order this dish. My husband ordered the sea bass, which was good but the sweet potato was not cooked. After being seated, no waiter came to us for more than half an hour. We had to call for the waiter. Every time we wanted something we had to ask fir thrice and wait for a long time. Very poor service. Very disappointing experience. We have decided never to go there again. Only the ambience was very good.

    A huge compliment to Norman our waiter who did an excellent job and made our visit to Nova Bistro exceptionally pleasant. Thank you. Holly was very welcoming when we arrived.

    The starters were tasty and drinks were great. Our manic course meals were underwhelming due to the fact that the meat in all four dishes (steak, chicken wings, chicken espatada & beef espatada) was over charred and dry.
