    On Sunday the 8 June we invited a close friend to accompany us to the Sunday jazz brunch at Oasis at the beautiful Mount Nelson Hotel. The experience was relaxed, refined, and effortlessly charming. The setting is serene, the ambiance is warm, grand and inviting, and the smooth melodies of live jazz set the perfect tone. Though we skipped the bottomless bubbly, the Mount Nelson rosé was a delightful choice—light, floral, and refreshing. Complemented by bottomless iced teas and coffee, the beverages alone made the experience feel indulgent. But the true highlight was the buffet—an extraordinary spread that catered to every craving. From fresh oysters and expertly prepared sushi to a carvery featuring succulent sirloin and tender lamb, the offerings were as diverse as they were mouth-wateringly delicious. Traditional flavours stood out as well, with aromatic curries and richly spiced boboties adding warmth and depth to the experience. A hearty butternut soup provided a comforting touch, while an array of artisanal cheeses added elegance to the selection. And then, of course, the pastries—flaky croissants, indulgent passion fruit-filled delights, and delicate tarts that paired beautifully with a coffee. The service from Blessing was attentive but unobtrusive, allowing us to settle into the rhythm of the day with ease. Oasis delivers a brunch experience that feels both elevated and inviting, making it an ideal spot to unwind and savour the weekend. I can highly recommend this experience.

    Mount Nelson is a World renowned establishment so are the services offered. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch at the Oasis. The staff is amazing, they are professional and the food is devine

    Fantastic experience from start to finish! Our whole party thoroughly enjoyed their afternoon with you. The management and staff were top class, friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding and the venue is just always so beautiful. Thank you!
