The Old Town Italy restaurant is at the heart of the store where friends, business colleagues, family and people passing through stop to take it all in. The restaurant is a show case of our values, service and belief in authentic Italian food. There is a constant flow in this area where you can grab a quick coffee or linger for a fresh breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here is where you truly experience the feeling of Old Town with a sense of returning to old school methods, artisanal cooking and good service.

The Old Town Italy cafe undertakes to serve the freshest premium-quality foods in as ethical a manner as possible. Our cafe also represents a movement back to “real food”.

Our menu is authentically Italian, yet flexible enough to stay up to date with the latest health trends and food movements. We focus on Italian products, but also source local products that align with our food philosophy. No GMO products are allowed in our store.

From authentic Italian dishes, to cuts from our butchery, grill section. fresh salads, to panini / piadina and hand-stretched Neapolitan pizza with real mozzarella.

    Food was okay. But two of us received our food, while a third person had to wait an extra 30 minutes before her food arrived at the table. Sort of defeats the purpose of having lunch 'together'. Its also just awkward to eat while one person in the group is still waiting. We had no cutlery (knives & forks) when it was time to eat. Staff were nowhere to be seen so we had to go hunt some cutlery down for ourselves. Cappuccinos arrived but with no sugar/sweetener and no teaspoon to stir the cup - by the time we got these the coffees were cold. Two of us tried to order something but were told we needed to pick something else because they had run out of the ingredients to make the dishes we had chosen. Overall, not a great experience. These are little things, but they are pretty basic and they add up. Ambience is definitely not as nice as it used to be now that Old Town Italy has been moved into the space next to the old spot where it used to be. You're basically sitting inside with a view of the interior of the mall instead of on the square. Won't go back.

    Very slow service, even drinks were slow. Undercooked ravioli. Not likely to try this restaurant again.

    Food took too long to come - and we were told it was because LaParada was very busy - we were sitting in Old Town Italy. A gorgonzola salad had 4 thin slices of dried, grilled pears, and the only part of a salad was a huge bowl of lettuce with the sparsest of gorgonzola cheese and walnuts. There was no dressing on the salad at all. What a miserable experience!

    We had a light above us that dimmed and bright the whole time. I had to order sauce as my steak was well done, and there was a marked difference between the three steaks that were all supposed to be medium. Others were medium rare. I had to go to the waiter and asked him to speed up.

    The service from the waitress was not good. She somehow failed to understand our order requirements and got the order wrong. After speaking to the manager, he gave us a substitute waitress and from then on the service improved

    Beautiful place but that’s about where it ends. Cocktails were horrible, just tasted like pure alcohol, we had to send it back. Mains were even worse. My rump and my father’s t-bone steak were both dry, chewy and flavourless. The only upside was the dessert - the cannolis are delicious! Would go back for only those. With the rest on offer, don’t waste your money.
