    A solid 7/10, slightly disappointed with the cauliflower small plate, the aubergine & bread starter and the lamb dish. The seafood items were fantastic. For sharing the mussel dish only had one bite-size "vetkoek", which feels stingy if there's three people on the table and it's meant for sharing.

    Stylish restaurant with varied menu. Steaks always good. Warm professional service. Don't be in a hurry - it's a great place to sit, talk, have a drink, and of course eat.

    What an enjoyable and tasty experience at Ongetem. I am not normally a fan of hotel restaurants, but this did not disappoint. Fabulous decor and ambience making it feel special but still comfortable and relaxed. Staff were friendly but professional and knowledgeable. And the food was fabulous. Even as a non- meat eater there was plenty to choose from. Although, no doubt, the meat-lovers had the best of it. Thank you. Will be back.
