    It’s a tiny bit pricey, but it’s ultimately top notch. Great for big groups or quiet conversations.

    So this was my 1st visit to the restaurant. The food was delicious, make no mistake, we had a wonderful meal. We ordered the risotto which was the hit of the night, but then we struggled to find anything interesting on the dessert menu. The menu has several "been done" dishes on and I found that disappointing We started with bubbles, but they didn't have a well priced bottle in stock, only the R800 Pieter Ferreira....GULP! As my dinner companion said, there's a Woolies down the line which stocks their lower priced version Amahle was a superb server, very attentive and patient with us. She went the extra mile and we enjoyed our interaction with her. The floor managers were also present and engaging. The one thing that is to be remembered is that this restaurant forms part of a hotel group, so we were having a nice dinner next to a family in slops from upstairs. So unfortunately it's not a cozy bistro feeling. The decor is phenomenally pretty though, cutlery and plates spectacular. Liked my dinner, but will be restrained in coming round a second time. Thank you Ongetem, a fantastic effort guys!

    We’ve been to Ongetem a couple of times and compliments to everyone- chef, manager, server and reception staff. The food is always the winner
