Our sister company, next door, Pescheria’s vessels are at sea every week, allowing us to present our guests with the freshest fruits of the sea our shores have to offer.     We wanted a place where we could treat and celebrate with dear friends. Ostra lived up to that in all respects. Good food, friendly and courteous service, soft background music. Hazelwood is renowned for good eating place and Ostra has huge potential. One positive suggestion: The old Pretoria East rewards the services of a flambojant maitre'd, one who speaks the lingo and explains with flair the specialities. Think Pachas, think Blu Saffron. You can thank me later.

    I had the bottomless sushi , Service was a bit slow in regards to receiving the next portion , Had to wait unpleasantly long for n few pieces each time . The waiter did best she could to speed up procedures . BUT well done to the Head chef that took action .We received generous amounts and types of sushi within minutes and it was delicious ,all worth it .
