    My mother ordered the Tiradito; she received three pieces of tuna with so much sinew that she was unable to cut through it and chew it. She brought it to our waiters attention, after which they brought her a new portion. The “new portion” came in the same bowl, very dirty on the sides (like the sauce was poured out and stained the whole bowl) with the same pieces of tuna where the chef just tried to cut the sides off where the sinew was, not giving attention to the fact that the sinew was throughout the pieces of tuna. My mother once again tried to eat it, unable to chew. My sister and I were finished eating, after which they brought her a new plate of Tiradito, this time salmon (whilst we were paying the bill). The portion was half the size of what my sister and I received. I was so shocked that the chef didn’t just serve her a new portion of tuna on a new plate, when the original complaint occurred. It was so embarrassing having to call our waiter and the manager three times. The chef was clearly trying to save money and in return lost us as customers. I really enjoyed Ostra in the past, but our experience yesterday was so bad that they won’t be seeing me again. On top of everything it was my mother’s birthday, which made it even worse.
