We support local, all our fresh produce is supplied by local companies within Hout Bay. We will always strive to bring you the freshest ingredients throughout our dishes. In line with this, all our menu items are subject to stock availability.

STARTERS:
We are bringing back the traditional starters. Made the same way using fresh ingredients like they did years ago.

JOLLY COOK'S SPECIALITY:
All our steaks are matured for a minimum of 30 days. Our meat supplier was established in 1893 and guarantees us the finest grain fed cuts of meat. We are passionate about meat and the way it is treated in the cold chain and how it is prepared before it is served to you.

PIZZA & PASTA:
Our pizza bases are made from the finest Italian flour. All other ingredients are specially selected from the top International suppliers. With our Pizza and Pasta we use the top graded Italian tomato and mozzarella cheese.

    Not really a customer-friendly experience. The service seemed completely unmotivated and was far from friendly. The steaks were OK, but nothing more. Three of us ordered steak, and unfortunately not a single one was cooked as requested.

    This was our first visit to Papino's and we thought it was fantastic. We loved the traditional feel of the restaurant with the fire blazing in the corner to give the place a cosy feel , the food was delicious and the service excellent.

    Food was not as good as last time [awhile back] and at those prices expected a bit more than old school creamed spinach and carrots with my steak. Olive oil and balsamic on the table to go with the bread would have been good. A more affordable fish option for my pescatarian son would also have been welcome, eg basic battered fish and chips
