Pappas is an award winning, family owned restaurant located on the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. We believe in fresh, quality produce and innovative, well-presented dishes. While we still offer a wide-variety of traditional Greek dishes, our Mediterranean menu has evolved with the history of the restaurant spanning over three decades.

Pappas boasts a 100 seater private dining room for events overlooking the iconic Nelson Mandela statue. The restaurant is also available to be hired out for private and corporate functions with a capacity of up to 215pax. Burning of whiskey, breaking of plates: Traditional Greek entertainment is available upon request.

    We had a fabulous light dinner here after a day of traveling. Great staff, good food, fun cocktails & wine. Try the smashed potato small plate/side.

    I think our waitron (Innocent) didn’t give us the attention I would’ve liked to feel well taken care off, so points go down for service. Other than that, I think the ambiance is great and the value is reasonable. The food was “meh”; some items were fresh and tasted great, while others (the spinach) was stale and offish on flavor. Overall, the experience was decent.
