Pappas is an award winning, family owned restaurant located on the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. We believe in fresh, quality produce and innovative, well-presented dishes. While we still offer a wide-variety of traditional Greek dishes, our Mediterranean menu has evolved with the history of the restaurant spanning over three decades.

Pappas boasts a 100 seater private dining room for events overlooking the iconic Nelson Mandela statue. The restaurant is also available to be hired out for private and corporate functions with a capacity of up to 215pax. Burning of whiskey, breaking of plates: Traditional Greek entertainment is available upon request.

    Once again, a beautiful evening for our 40 guests - all young Ophthalmologists. Love the food and wine. The atmosphere always so lovely and fun with the dancer. The team is awesome and really looked after us so well. Thanks again Papa's - we will be back in 2027. Blessings! Joey and the Take Note Events team and OMG.

    Pappas turned out to be a great choice for a meal before our theatre show. The service was excellent and the food really tasty and good value for money. It's bit noisy but manageable.
