Pappas is an award winning, family owned restaurant located on the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. We believe in fresh, quality produce and innovative, well-presented dishes. While we still offer a wide-variety of traditional Greek dishes, our Mediterranean menu has evolved with the history of the restaurant spanning over three decades.

Pappas boasts a 100 seater private dining room for events overlooking the iconic Nelson Mandela statue. The restaurant is also available to be hired out for private and corporate functions with a capacity of up to 215pax. Burning of whiskey, breaking of plates: Traditional Greek entertainment is available upon request.

    All i can say Bravo. I was received well and during our visit the Servers always made sure we were taken care of. Will recommend this restaurant a 100000 times. To top it off without me even knowing it i was surprised with a sweet treat and a happy birthday song.

    Hosted our book review here and absolutely loved it. The food is affordable and the food portions are quite sizeable! Friendly and efficient staff. Given that we were there for a book review I appreciated the heads up about the belly dancing at 8pm on Friday evenings (which we absolutely enjoyed!) where the music becomes a bit loud for the duration. So there we were at 8pm taking a break and joining in the belly dancing (sort of 😅). Our server, Thulani was awesome and took great care of us. Thank you

    My trout was superb. My husband La chicken was tasty but he had to send it back as the sauce was congealed on top and not hot. It was sorted out very quickly and we enjoyed our evening
