Pappas is an award winning, family owned restaurant located on the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. We believe in fresh, quality produce and innovative, well-presented dishes. While we still offer a wide-variety of traditional Greek dishes, our Mediterranean menu has evolved with the history of the restaurant spanning over three decades.

Pappas boasts a 100 seater private dining room for events overlooking the iconic Nelson Mandela statue. The restaurant is also available to be hired out for private and corporate functions with a capacity of up to 215pax. Burning of whiskey, breaking of plates: Traditional Greek entertainment is available upon request.

    We had a year end lunch at Papas . It was absolutely phenomenal. Thabang and his team did not dissappoint. It was extremely lively, engaging and restuarant was on fire. The food was amazing, the entertainment was abolutely fantastic. Thank you to The Papas team....

    The prawns were overcooked and difficult to shell. My suggestion is not to use the burner because it makes the prawns tough. The service is good but the chairs on the outdoor patio are terribly uncomfortable.

    We had such a lovely afternoon thank you. My only feedback on the prawns, would be to rather serve the lemon butter on the side. It was an enormous amount of butter and the 3 of us that had this dish felt rather nauseous afterwards. I would like to thank you so much for making my friend's bd so special with the baklava and the singing - this was so appreciated
