Pappas is an award winning, family owned restaurant located on the Nelson Mandela Square in Sandton. We believe in fresh, quality produce and innovative, well-presented dishes. While we still offer a wide-variety of traditional Greek dishes, our Mediterranean menu has evolved with the history of the restaurant spanning over three decades.

Pappas boasts a 100 seater private dining room for events overlooking the iconic Nelson Mandela statue. The restaurant is also available to be hired out for private and corporate functions with a capacity of up to 215pax. Burning of whiskey, breaking of plates: Traditional Greek entertainment is available upon request.

    My family and I has been dinning at your venue for a good few years. The menu seems to be the same … I feel that the menu should be updated as the current menu is rather boring.

    The service is good but the steaks are so so tough. Only the rump steak is tender. Stayed in Sandton for about a week and ate there most nights, the food is good, just stay away from the steaks and the rice. Other than that the service, location, ambience etc, Amazing✨✨

    Pappas always delivers good food in a lovely ambience. The only disappointment was our server, who seemed more interested to serve a bigger table than just our table of two. I suppose for him that table represented a bigger tip. Otherwise we enjoyed our Greek lamb and the lamb burger with yummy chips.
