Paputzis is a beloved Linden, Randburg restaurant that has operated as a Coffee Shop since 1997. After beautiful renovations and extensions, we now also offer Paputzis@Night. Our restaurant retains its informal Café style for casual daytime drinks and dining, including breakfasts, light lunches, coffee, homemade teatime favourites and, of course, wine. For Paputzis@Night, we have an à la carte menu featuring traditional and contemporary favourites, including lamb shank, oxtail, King prawns, duck, poké bowls, hamburgers, and blackboard specials.
The seating in our lush garden includes tranquil areas, a place for happy gatherings, a playground and a smokers’ corner. On our lovely Farmhouse stoep, there are three patio areas that can be enclosed if needed. For inside seating, there are three cosy rooms, including one with a fireplace.
We love to entertain for special occasions and celebrations, tailoring menus to the host’s/hostess's specific requirements.
We have a liquor licence and offer a variety of wines and beverages, but you are welcome to bring your own wine (for which we charge a minimal corkage fee).

    Lovely and unexpectedly large restaurant nestled in a stunning garden setting. Peaceful music played as we received our delicious cake slices, and the friendly staff had us promising to return soon.

    We love going to Paputzis. The food is great and the kids have a blast in the playground. A lovely family atmosphere!

    We had a truly wonderful dinner at Paputzis. The cosy charm of the restaurant makes it such a warm and welcoming place to spend an evening. The food was excellent. The lamb curry was absolutely delicious, the rib-eye steak was cooked perfectly, and the lamb shank was tender and full of flavour. Ingrid was so friendly and helpful, and the staff were efficient and welcoming throughout the evening. A fantastic dining experience! we highly recommend Paputzis and will certainly be back.

    Love the new renovations at Paputzis. The spaces are open, inviting and layed out with thought. The large outside area is perfect if your companions include pooches, smokers and kids who need entertainment (a playarea), or for more intimate tables - the verandah or around the fireplace. The food is fresh and the staff wonderful. Will be back! PS The extended hours now makes it a place to enjoy sundowners or a cosy dinner.

    Such a lovely morning with everyone so kind and attentive. Made even more special as that was once my uncle's home so brought back memories of good times too.
