    The food wasn't at its usual high standard. The steak was a little under done and cold in the centre and the risotto starter smelt a bit like it had been in a burnt pan. The presentation of the steak with the sauce thrown over it was also not great. Patinas is still our favorite local steak house but this visit was slightly off its usual high quality.

    Sadly, the steaks are not good; meat is poorly prepared and rarely cooked as requested. The fries certainly seem frozen. Last night we asked for house Chenin Blanc, and were given a very nice wine, for which they charged us R145 a glass!?! Sadly, this local steakhouse no longer hits the spot.
