We offer Portuguese inspired cuisine in the heart of the Lowveld. Enjoy specialties such as Pregos, Rissoles, Trinchado, Pastéis de Nata and many more.

Sit inside and have a drink at the bar or sit outside and experience majestic views of the Drakensberg Mountains.

Please note that this is an adult only restaurant and that no kids under the age of 12 is allowed.

Kindly note that the use of our hotel facilities such as the swimming pool and the gym is only open to our in-house guests.

HOLIDAY SEASON NOTICE:
Due to high occupancy levels our capacity to accept outside bookings will be very limited during the December holiday period (13 December 2024 to 3 January 2025)

Please be advised that on the following dates, we will not be accepting restaurant reservations. Our hotel will be fully booked, and all restaurant spaces will be reserved for our in-house guests.

Monday 23 December to Thursday 26 December
Tuesday 31 December to Thursday 2 January

    We really liked everything from the place itself to the food to our server Arnold. Unfortunately we were super tired so didn’t stay long but will definitely be back again when we have a little more energy. Arnold was amazing from the greeting at the door to walking us out and everything In between we really enjoyed his company and service.

    Love the atmosphere, staff super friendly yet very professional. Host Niel is superb. The food was authentic Portuguese- like a home cookec meal yet 5 star. Very tasty! Very fresh. Loved it. Will definitely be returning customers!

    I recently visited this restaurant, excited to try authentic Portuguese cuisine in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to my expectations. The venue itself is lovely, but the dishes we ordered were bland and unremarkable. As someone looking forward to trying traditional Portuguese flavors, I was disappointed. On the other hand, the service was top-notch. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent care throughout our meal. While this restaurant has potential, it falls short in the culinary department. Perhaps with some tweaks to their menu and cooking style, they'll be able to deliver the authentic Portuguese experience I was hoping for.
