The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

At Piatto we are proud to offer you an exceptional experience with efficient service and quality. We focus on providing great value for money in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu boasts a huge variety of dishes and our food caters to all palettes.

    I made a reservation a week ago for 20 people only to get there and my table was given to another group and the manager said they was a mix up…but how when l even called at 4pm and told them l will be late by 10 mins…now we are getting there we dont have a table and we are just standing ,its took them 30 mins to sort out a table and we were so squeezed in 4 tables the 20 of us and we couldn’t even move or eat properly

    The waiter Joseph was AMAZING. The food let Piatto down. Maybe it was too many people. The steak in some cases was more rare than medium rare. The person who ordered the chicken pasta was very impressed. The mash was also the star of the show
