The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

At Piatto we are proud to offer you an exceptional experience with efficient service and quality. We focus on providing great value for money in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu boasts a huge variety of dishes and our food caters to all palettes.

    All was perfect as usual but my waitress was not on board! We waited long before we could be assigned a waiter, when she finally arrived , she is very sloooooow, we finished eating and she disappeared we had to look for her for the bill and when I asked you disappeared without giving us a bill , she responds you didn’t ask for it, so I wasn’t sure if you are done… but she didn’t even ask us if do we need to order more or? On arrival I mentioned it my friend’s bday, owaaa we didn’t get that bday desert🥰… otherwise I still love Piatto but not her services and for the sake of protecting her job I won’t mention her name, co if she would lose her job I will not be happy, cost of living is too high.
