The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

    The food was really good fresh, tasty, and well prepared. The service was also cool; the staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing. However, the space does feel quite small, which might be a bit uncomfortable for someone who’s claustrophobic. Overall, it’s a nice spot to grab a meal if you don’t mind a more compact setting.

    The was delicious however the wings were a bit dry. The waitress was a bit slow I suspect she was new. I really enjoyed the burn the bill as I got 50% off my bill that was great since it was my husbands birthday

    My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Piatto Mall of the South, and we had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. We truly appreciate the effort your team put into making the evening special. We’ll definitely be visiting again soon!
