The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

At Piatto we are proud to offer you an exceptional experience with efficient service and quality. We focus on providing great value for money in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu boasts a huge variety of dishes and our food caters to all palettes.

    We booked reservations online for 17:00 for 2 people, we got there around 16:50 but we still had to wait for atleast a pair of 2 people to be seated first before us who had reservations. It took a while for us to be served by a waitress. Our food was underwhelming and undercooked. The pepper bottle wasn’t even closed properly it spilled all over my food.

    The experience, food and service was excellently delivered. Problem is that they said the reservation doesn't work

    The place was very packed and I had to wait to be given a table regardless of me booking. We asked for a baby seat and waited forever until we had to stand up and look for it. Then was given a table where it was very dark
