The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

    Visited a couple of times before and had great service, but yesterday’s service was shocking. Waiter was slow, didn’t understand us and the same for the manager. No aircon, music was very loud when it was on. Food was good overall, but the crispy butternut salad was disappointing.

    Nice restaurant for celebrations. We went to celebrate Christmas 🎄 with my family and we had a lovely time. The food was nice as well. Love it!

    Hi. Food disappointing as we asked for very well done steak, had to send back twice but still pink. Took it home 2 redo. Music was not catering for all groups. We are a rainbow nation. Especially at Christmas some xmas music would be nice. But staff were excellent and very accommodating even though it was very full.
