The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

At Piatto we are proud to offer you an exceptional experience with efficient service and quality. We focus on providing great value for money in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu boasts a huge variety of dishes and our food caters to all palettes.

    The best service and food at this specific Piatto is always best. We always come back to this same one! They were so helpful with our surprise as well. Absolutely love the service there

    We had dinner here and celebrated a birthday. The food was delicious and the ambience of the place was lovely! The staff were very accommodating in allowing us to bring our own cake. 10/10 I will definitely be coming back.

    Ayanda was pleasant, however when I asked about the house wines. She only knew the white. Food was not hot at all. My husband had to send his back to be cooked a bit more. Calamari was tasteless. Bland. Prawns were good, but just warm. Starter was good, but u cant really mess up Halloumi can you. Won't be back in a rush

    When I arrived, there was no booking, yet I had a confirmation, we set for almost 20mins before a waiter can attend to us to get orders for drinks. The food orders were also delayed and regardless it was my birthday the kind birthday gesture of ice cream and starlight plus the singing was towards the time we were on our way out. Our waitress Ayanda D, was great though...friendly and tried to assure us of the short comings. The ambience was great as well...classy, pleasant and warm.

    Below mediocre food and drinks. Good for aesthetics and ambiance. Wouldn't go again and would definitely not recommend.
