The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

    I'm not happy we made a booking 2 weeks before the date, we arrived there with decoration and the had is at a small round table for only 4 chairs. I booked for 6, apparently our big table behind that one was for us but someone took the reserve off and seated other people there wich the waiter said they were sitting there for long now and wanted to sit all of us at a round table, I said no I refuse we booked before and arranged to bring decorations and of you reserve a table for someone you need to make sure the table is open and reserved before they arrive. It's was a embarrassing moment we all stood there then the manager was called to clear the people from the table, wich I'm sure was a embarrassment to them too. This things shouldn't be happening.
